A Little Bit of Broadway

Yellow Submarine

1968
Fifty years ago this month the Beatles arrived on American shores, and music, culture and hair have never been the same since.  This afternoon, we are listening to the soundtrack from the 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine, starring the Fab Four saving Pepperland from the Blue Meanies, who were draining all the color from that undersea paradise.

I just wish the soundtrack had more of the vocal music from the film!
