This Thursday's list is an eclectic one. To start off:
Salieri: Overture to La Secchia rapita (The Stolen Bucket) performed by the Czecho-Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Michael Dittrich.
Mozart:  Symphony No. 18, K130 performed by the Prague Chamber Orchestra under Sir Charles Mackerras.
Bizet:  The Symphony in C major (his only one) performed by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Louis Fremaux.
Frank Bridge is on next to celebrate the anniversary of his birth.
Bridge: An Irish Melody Allegro moderato, William Boughton and the English String Orchestra.
---       Chamber Concerto for piano & strings ,Constantine Orbelian conducting the Moscow Chamber Orchestra.
---         Phantasy in F sharp minor for Piano Quartet - the American Chamber Players.
Chopin: 4 etudes from Opus 10, William Aide at the piano.
Glazunov:  Symphony No. 2 in B minor, Ernest Ansermet conducting L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
Bruch:  Suite hebraique performed by Miriam Kramer - violin; Simon Over - piano.
Respighi:  Church Windows, Jesus Lopez-Cobos conducting the  Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
Bruch:  Sonata for violin & piano Poeme mystique again Miriam Kramer and Simon Over.
