As we sit out the latest "winter weather advisory" we have an interesting show for you on this date. We will have a visit from Rick Trostel of the Student Symphony along with Thomas Rainer, composer of the Alaska Sinfonietta which will be premiered this weekend - that is a "world premier" at that.
Mozart: Symphony No. 25 in G minor, K 183, "The Little G Minor", Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields.
Schubert: String Quartet No. 13 in A minor, Op. 29. D804, the Melos String Quartet.
Schubert: Rondo Brillant in B minor, Op.  70, D 895, Denes Zsigmondy - violin; Anneliese Nissen - piano
Dvorak: Gavotte in G minor for 3 violins, members of the Alberni String Quartet.
Mendelssohn: Concerto for violin & orchestra in E minor, Op. 64, Anne-Sophie Mutter - violin, Herbert von Karajan, Berlin Philharmonic.
Dvorak: Romance, Op. 11, members of the Alberni String Quartet.
Previn: Concerto for violin & orchestra "Anne-Sophie" Anne-Sophie Mutter, Previn conducting the Boston Symphony.
Hindemith: Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, Herbert Blomstedt, San Francisco Symphony.
