A Little Bit of Broadway

It used to be, in the olden days, that Hollywood looked to Broadway for musical inspiration. Broadway musicals regularly appeared on the Silver Screen – although Hollywood “improved” them so much that sometimes you wouldn’t have recognized them! Recently, however, it’s been Broadway looking to Hollywood for source material. Touring the United States right now, as it works its way toward Broadway, is the stage version of that classic 1987 movie musical Dirty Dancing.
