We will have a special guest today and the mid-program break. Maestro Kyle Wiley Pickett will be here to talk about the upcoming Juneau Symphony performance this Saturday. The show piece for the concet will be the performance by Sue Kazama of the Gershwin "I Got Rhythm" variations. But to begin the show a little Back will never hurt!

Robert Shaw conducting the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Gershwin: Catfish Row, Symphonic picture from Porgy & Bess, Erich Kunzel and the Cincinatti
Pops Orchestra.
Shostakovich: Concerto No. 1 for Piano, Orchestra and Trumpet, Yefim Bronfman at the piano,
Thomas Stevens on the horn and Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Dvorak: Nocturne, Op. 40, Bohuslav Matousek - piano, Petr Adamec - violin.
Stravinsky: Apollon musagetes, the Composer conducting the Columbia Symphony Orchestra.
Bloch: Schelomo, Mstislav Rostropovich on the cello and Leonard Bernstein conducting the '
Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart.
