A Little Bit of Broadway

Easter Parade
1948 Original Soundtrack Recording

After vaudeville star Don Hewes is abandoned by his dancing partner, Don vows that he can make a star out of the next dancer he meets. And since it's Fred Astaire teaching Judy Garland, you know he'll succeed.

The film is truly an American Classic, also starring Peter Lawford and Ann Miller in her first big MGM role. With music by Irving Berlin, how can you go wrong! And you have my permission to put on your Easter hat and sing along on the title tune!

And is there an Easter Parade? Yes, indeed! Hats range from elegant hats suitable to church while others are so zany all you can do is laugh! Take a look for yourself!
