A Little Bit of Broadway

Anything Goes
2011 Revivial Cast

In 1934, Cole Porter wrote one of the best Broadway musicals of all time. Anything Goes is very 1930’s musical theater – complete with amazing tap numbers, campy jokes, unlikely happy endings and eminently hummable songs. It’s been filmed (twice), is a popular musical for schools and community theater, and has been revived several times. The most recent revival is currently on Broadway, wowing folks with a crew of singing sailors, some exotic disguises and some good old-fashioned blackmail. So let’s board the S.S. American as she sets sail for England, and join the 2011 Tony Award winning cast for Anything Goes.
