A Little Bit of Broadway

Sunday, November 13, 2011

In 1985, an Off-Broadway show debuted that became the second longest running off-Broadway show ever. It starred the five remaining sisters of The Little Sisters of Hoboken (the rest died when Sister Julia Child of God accidentally poisoned the rest with tainted vichyssoise.) They have buried every one of those poor sisters except four, and in order to raise the money, they do what everyone does -- they put on a show!

Music, Lyrics and Book by Dan Goggin

Here’s just a variety of songs from a variety of Broadway shows
Coffee in a Cardboard Cup =70 Girls 70
Lucky to be Me = On the Town
Send in the Clowns = A Little Night Music
I’m Always Chasing Rainbows = Irene
Over Here! = Over Here!
Come Follow the Band = Barnum
Overture = Candide
