A Little Bit of Broadway


Promises, Promises

One of the great lyricists on the 20th century passed away September 1. Hal David started writing in the 1940’s, but gained his most fame wile collaborating with Burt Bacharach. The two wrote some of the best music of the 1960’s and 70’s. That includes the music from their one Broadway show – Promises, Promises. We are listening to the revival cast this afternoon.
