A Little Bit of Broadway

Motown, the musical

This jukebox musical traces the life story of Berry Gordy, from featherweight boxer to songwriter to founder of Motown Records, which during it's heyday introduced the world to Temptations, the Four Tops, the Marvelettes, The Miracles, The Supremes, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder and more...much more.

To finish the time, we'll listen to another Influential composer…Jelly Roll Morton was one of the early driving forces introducing jazz to the American people.  Gregory Hines told his story in Jelly's Last Jam.
